Specialist, Contract Administration

Cameco is one of the world’s largest uranium producers and a leading provider of nuclear fuel processing services, supplying much of the world's reactor fleet with the fuel to generate one of the cleanest sources of electricity available today. Reporting to the manager, contract administration, you will be part of a team which provides outstanding service to Cameco’s portfolio of worldwide customers. Your primary responsibilities will include administering a portfolio of marketing contracts. This includes building strong customer and internal stakeholder relationships, supporting Cameco’s sales team, maintaining an SAP-based contract management system, monitoring, and coordinating the delivery of products and related services to customers, and managing contract documents. This is an entry-level position in the fast paced, international marketing department and will require someone with exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to communicate.

 

You will interact with internal and external stakeholders including Cameco’s affiliated companies, third-party customers, the sales team, as well as Cameco’s finance, treasury, and legal departments. You will be involved in activities related to sales, delivery planning and inventory management in a global market context. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and participate in many different aspects of Cameco’s business.

 

The position will be based primarily out of the Saskatoon office with the ability to partially work remotely. The details of this flex/hybrid work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.

 

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
  • A combination of work experience and other education may be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in use of spreadsheet applications and database systems
  • Desire for continuous learning and development

 

Assets:

  • Experience with SAP
