Christy Miller (BComm, MPNL) is a collaborative and mission-driven leader whose work has been recognized through national and international awards for creativity, return on investment and long-term impact on fundraising revenue.
As a certified leadership coach, Christy believes in helping people and organizations tap into their knowledge and find new ways to approach challenges. In her over 20 years' in the nonprofit and public sector, she has led multi-year fundraising campaigns as well as long-standing programs while building high-performing cross-functional teams that achieve results.
Christy’s natural enthusiasm for connecting people and ideas shines around the Board table or the conference room, and she has spoken at conferences and led interactive workshops across Canada, bringing people together to learn, laugh and leave feeling energized about their work.
Christy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in marketing, from the University of Saskatchewan and a master’s degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University. She became a Certified Leadership Coach in 2021.
Christy's research interests include exploring gender differences in philanthropy and uplifting the roles of women within nonprofit organizations and as philanthropists. In 2022, Christy launched her consultancy focused on serving the nonprofit sector.
