Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities include:
- Will work as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient production of the mill
- Maintain the mill piping and propane systems, and modify or construct piping as required
- Follow piping diagrams
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment
- Follow company procedures and comply with the practices of our work order management system
- Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture
- Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
- Interprovincial Journeyperson pipefitter or plumber’s ticket is required
- Saskatchewan General Gas Fitters ticket is required
- Ability to follow piping diagrams is required
- Experience with industrial piping materials such as HDPE, CPVC, FRP, SS and Victaulic is an asset
- Industrial maintenance experience is an asset
- Ability to work with minimum supervision at times
- Ability to work as part of a diverse maintenance team
- Willing to assist other trades in the completion of their duties
- Physically capable of working 11 hour a day in many different work environments and conditions
- Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN)
Work Location & Schedule:
- McClean Lake
- 14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
- Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
- This position requires moderate physical ability
Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Friday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Camsell Portage, Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
