Exploration GIS Analyst

Orano Canada is a leading producer of uranium in Canada, working to power the future with clean energy! Our McClean Lake mill is the most technologically-advanced mill in the world for the processing of high-grade uranium ore without dilution. What you’ll accomplish:
· Manage and administer ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS environments
· Develop and update spatial databases and ensure data integrity
· Generate and maintain scripts and automated processes to improve efficiency and data management
· Develop and maintain web-based GIS applications and services using ESRI technologies
· Prepare and update documentation for GIS processes and workflows
· Identify opportunities for enhancing GIS capabilities and implementing new tools
· Train end-users and team members on GIS software, tools, and best practices
· Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures
Qualities and skills we’re seeking:
· Post-secondary education in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technology or a Geomatics graduate or equivalent with significant experience in a geosciences or mining environment
· Proficient with ESRI software suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, etc.)
· Experience with Python, SQL, or JavaScript for GIS automation and customization
· Familiarity with web mapping technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ESRI web APIs)
· Comprehension of GIS principles, spatial data formats, and geodatabase management
· Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
· Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
· Takes initiative to suggest and implement improvements to work processes
· Effective organizational skills, particularly in terms of data and documents organization and filing
Work Location & Schedule:
· Saskatoon office
· Some travel to mine and exploration sites for field work is required
