Inclusive Safe Spaces in Mining - Nutrien
On December 6th Nutrien is proud to share a conversation between Larry Long, VP, Potash Operations and Janelle Appleyard, Director, Safety and Health, focused on inclusive safe spaces in mining in honour of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. It was on this day in 1989 that 14 women lost their lives because they were attending school to become engineers, a field that continues to be dominated by men. Larry and Janelle will discuss how Nutrien is creating spaces in our mine operations to be inclusive and safe for all of our employees and our future workforce. Nutrien is taking bold steps to be the mine of the future for everyone.
