Inclusivity in STEM Conference

Individuals working in STEM fields can often face gender, race, or sexual orientation barriers, yet successful organizations are more competitive and innovative when they focus on workplace diversity. During this full day conference keynote speakers and panelists will address how to identify and breakdown these barriers to attract and retain more diverse talent in STEM positions.  

This year's conference three Keynote Speakers include:

  • Gabrielle Gascon - Manager at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC)
  • Laurie Rousseau-Nepton - Resident astronomer at the Canada-France-Hawaii Observatory and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hawaii. First indigenous woman in Quebec to obtain a PhD in astrophysics.
  • Jocelyn Peltier-Huntley BSc, MSc, - Lecturer in the College of Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan
