Foran Mining Corporation (TSX: FOM), a modern mining company that wants to change what mining means to people. We are currently seeking experienced individuals for various Underground Positions as a Miner 4 to join our expanding McIlvenna Bay team. These are full-time positions based at the McIlvenna Bay site, in Northern Saskatchewan working at our camp on a rotational basis.
Specifically, within the Miner 4 position we are looking for individuals with experience and interest to perform the following:
• UG Truck Operator
• Offsider (Development Helper)
As part of the Underground Team, the Miner 4 positions provide essential support to the mining activities during various stages of mine operation. These roles involve assistance in setting up or operating equipment, transporting materials while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Miner 4 positions play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and supporting the overall productivity of our mining operations. Progression opportunities based on skills, experience and training will be available in 2025 and beyond.

Job Responsibilities:
• Safely operate underground haul truck.
• Transport tools and materials to work sites for development activities.
• Assist in installing ground support systems and drilling operations.
• Assisting the mining crew with extending and repairing services
• Set up and prepare mining equipment for excavation and drilling.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and routine maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond to emergencies by following established procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area by removing debris and waste.
• Ensure broken material does not pose risks and facilitate its removal.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Maintain safety bays and MineArc / Refuge Stations (PC)
• Maintain Haulage ways and Lunchrooms (PC)
Job Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or GED.
• Specialized training in underground equipment operation and underground mining safety is preferred.
• Experience working as an offsider or experience around jumbo drills is considered an asset.
• Experience operating underground trucks and haulage equipment is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in underground mining.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces and challenging underground conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $31/hr in addition to a highly competitive monthly bonus.
• Potential Truck Driver bonus range: Additional $9.92 - $24.18/hr
• Potential Offsider Development Helper bonus range: Additional $4.29 - $10.45/hr
