Now accepting applications from university and trades or technical students!
Three awards of $1,000 each will be given to returning post-secondary students in Saskatchewan who embody the values of diversity and leadership in the mining or nuclear industries. One scholarship will be awarded to two university students — an undergraduate and a graduate student, and one to a student in a technical/trades related program.
Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:
• Current member of WIM/WiN-SK.
• Enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan in a program related to fields of minerals, mining, nuclear, and radiation. There is no limitation as to the program of study, as long as a link between the program and the mining and/or nuclear industry can be demonstrated.
• Full-time student in good standing, enrolled during the 2017/18 term, and returning in the 2018/19 term. (Those entering a co-op or internship term are not eligible). All full-time students, including those enrolled in certificate, diploma, undergraduate, and graduate studies qualify.
Members are encouraged to forward this information to anyone who may be eligible. Questions regarding the scholarship can be directed to email@example.com.
