The 2018 campaign theme is #PressforProgress.

With the World Economic Forum’s 2017 Global Gender Gap Report findings telling us that gender parity is over 200 years away – there has never been a more important time to keep motivated and #PressforProgress. Our vision here at WIM/WiN-SK is Parity Drives Growth and we are pleased to be doing our part to #PressforProgress.

Individually, we’re one drop but together we’re an ocean. Let’s all collaborate to accelerate gender equity, so our collective action powers equality worldwide. You can work with WIM/WiN-SK to make this a reality, here’s how:

  1. Maintain a gender parity mindset
    • Question any lack of women’s participation
    • Identify alternatives that are more inclusive
    • Nominate women for opportunities
    • Always include and support women
    • Think “50/50” as the goal
  1. Challenge stereotypes and bias
    • Question assumptions about women
    • Challenge statements that limit women
    • Use inclusive language
    • Work to remove barriers to women’s progress
    • Buy from retailers who position women in positive ways
  1. Forge positive visibility of women
    • Identify ways to make women more visible
    • Extend opportunities to women first
